Marilyn Jerde

Marilyn Jerde, Executive Director of Elementary Education and former principal in Westminster, Colorado, and a collaborator on the Writing for Audience and Purpose project, will discuss and demonstrate how she trains leadership teams across a district to become confident and practiced before they implement the project in their respective schools. Marilyn will also discuss the journey that led from project implementation in one school in her district to twenty schools (including several middle schools), and the lessons that have been learned about an effective and sustained change process.
