Study Driven: A Framework for Planning Units of Study in the Writing Workshop
Students have to be shown real-world examples of the kinds of writing they're asked to produce.The seminar is designed for groups of teachers who already understand and work within the major tenets of Writing Workshop. Their students write regularly, confer with one another, make choices about what they write and how to write it, work toward finishing individual pieces, think about their processes and product, and expect that their teachers will help them write better.
