Use science notebooks to their full potential.More than just a tool to build literacy, science notebooks can play an important role in the development of scientific concepts and replicating the work of scientists. Science notebooks are tools for students to make sense of their understandings using recording and organizing strategies that are personally meaningful.
This School-Based Seminar, based on Science Notebooks: Writing About Inquiry by Brian Campbell and Lori Fulton, will explore strategies to help students develop their own notebooks while maintaining focus on science content.
